Our R&D laboratory in Burlingame, CA (Y's Therapeutics, Inc.), is just south of San Francisco and San Francisco International Airport, conveniently located in the center of the San Francisco Bay Area's biotech hub. The goal of our Burlingame facility is to expand the R&D and business development capabilities of Y's by leveraging the personnel and logistical opportunities offered in the US. This facility establishes a presence for Y's in the world's largest pharmaceutical market and facilitates access to hundreds of other biotech companies and key academic centers. Our Burlingame site is an 11,000 square foot facility, which was constructed to our specifications and intends to house up to 50 professionals and scientists. It has been designed to meet our needs and is equipped with state-of-the art technology to support our expanding R&D efforts.
In 2008, the R & D laboratory, however, suspended its laboratory activities due to the change of product development stage.
